 How to use this website
If you are new to "The next Generation in Genealogy Websites" and are having a bit of trouble using this website, then look no further....

 How to Search for your Ancestors
You can search this website in one of two ways -
  • The Quick Search method, located in the top left hand corner of ever screen

    •    Enter the Surname of the person you are looking for, then the first names
  • Advanced Search method - accessed via the menu on the left hand side of the page

    •    Enter your search details as per the screen:- see image below..

    Each field has a drop down menu from which you can select several search options

    When you have finished click on the Search Button - if you want to start again, click on the Reset All Values button.
    The following will appear - click on the name and you will be taken to the individual's page


    You will notice when you view an individuals details - the following tab bar...


    The tab bar above appears whenever you access an individuals record - Please see FAQ for more details.

  • The Individual tab is the default display - this will show who they married, their childern, parents, notes and any photos or certificates attached to them

  • The Ancestors tab will show the individuals ancestors

  • The Descendants tab will show the individuals descendants

  • The Relationship tab will show you the relationship between two people, use the 'Find' buttons to locate the individuals (or keep the people displayed), then click 'Calculate'

  • The Timeline tab will show the individuals life line and includes their children

  • The Suggest tab allows you to add a comment or make a suggestion on that individual, i.e., if you think a birth date is wrong or if you are related to this individual


    •  Below these tabs are: Personal Information / Media / Notes / All

  • Personal Information: will only show this individuals info ref their Birth, Death, Marriage, Parents & Children

  • Media: will show all the Photos, Documents etc attached to this individual

  • Notes: will show all the notes on this individual

  • All: will show you everyone attached to this individual
